Stabilized Amboyna Burl

Amboyna: Pterocarpus indicus: Beautiful coloration, famous for deep vivid red and oranges with snow white sapwood and some of the most dense and fantastic burl eye figure of any wood. Amboyna burl has properties to make it one of the best woods possible. It is dense while workable, fine grained, able to take a high polish, its rich natural color is long lasting and it accepts stabilizing very well. The final product is burl blocks without equal in apperance or mechanical properties.
