Ringed Gidgee: Acacia cambagei: Ringed gidgee is a favorite of knifemakers on par with ironwood and Amboyna. It's a super dense, fine grained, stable member of the Acacia family from arid zones of Australia. The wood does not need stabilizing, and is dense enough to sink in water. Colors may be darker than shown.
