Ringed Gidgee: Acacia cambagei: Ringed gidgee is a favorite of knifemakers on par with ironwood and Amboyna. It's a super dense, fine grained, stable member of the Acacia family from arid zones of Australia. The wood does not need stabilizing, and is dense enough to sink in water.
