Acacia Burl: Acacia mimosa: Acacia burl is a dense, stable burl of the small acacia mimosa tree that grows across S.E asia. Itss rare to find acacia burl, as the genus is generally much more known for curly figure. These burls show good golden color with spalting running through the sapwood, and accept stabilizing by K&G well. The wood is solid, strongly chatoyant and has properties similar to stabilized koa.
