Hand forged Kitchen Knives, no Handles

Hey everyone, these are some blades I had forged by a group of blade smiths in Vietnam. 

 

Knives are forged from L6, a very tough high nickle steel, similar to a cross between 15N20 and 5160. Blades are oil quenched and tempered back to 60 HRC. These knives take an excellent edge, are very tough and sharpen up with just a few quick strokes on a stone.

 

They are a great choice if you are looking to try making some handles, or if you want to give a handmade knife as a gift but arent looking to spend hundreds of dollars.
