Black And White Ebony

Black and White Ebony: Diospyros malabarica: Very rare type of S.E asian ebony, with a distinctive black and white grain that looks like nothing else. The wood is naturally very dense, similar in strength and density to other pure black ebony. The wood I have is kiln dried, Its difficult to measure moisture because of changes in density, my estimate is about 15%. The wood can check or crack, but its very easy to fix with CA glue or epoxy, either clear or with black dye and the lines disappear or blend in very well.
