Curly Narra: Pterocarpus indicus: Narra is the same tree that produces amboyna burl, it is a member of the padauk family with a dense, fine grain, beautiful red color and amazing chatoyancy. Narra is an excellent wood, combining a fine, lustrous grain, good strength while remaining workable and tough. The wood also takes stabilizing very well, producing a wood that is dense, water resistant and able to be polished to an excellent shine. Stabilized by K&G
